Key
West, Florida - Guitarist Bo Fodor is well known for his on
and off stage antics -- it is not unusual for Bo to leave
the stage and grab a beer bottle or someone's lighter to use
as a slide, but everyone's favorite trick is when he drops
his pick and uses his teeth to play the guitar! |

Bo,
a veteran rock and roller from Minnesota, now makes
Key West and the Lower Florida Keys his home. You can
find Bo every Thursday night at Boondocks
on Ramrod Key, strumming and singing soft rock ballads
by artists such as Jimmy Buffet (we are in the Keys!),
Bob Marley and Neil Young. Every Friday night Bo and
his band, The Hitchhikers (With Randy
Perry on bass and Rex Mathews on drums) bring the Boondocks
house down with their classic
dance rock covers from the 1960s to today. For other
Key West and Lower Keys play dates check the band's
schedule. |

Bo gets the kudos from local critics: from Valerie Ridenour's
(Key West the Newspaper) review of The Hitchhiker's
New Year's Eve 2006 show: "Bo played his trademark
smoking lead. There are only a few guitarists on Bo's
level ... Bo and Randy are both great singers who do
perfect harmonizing.... Rex changes the beat from hot
to hotter with ease and expertise that keeps the dancers

Bo started playing guitar in St.
Paul, MN when he was 14 years old. He was a leader of several
bands over the years, including Counter Attack from 1981
to 1988, playing major venues and national
concerts, such as Foghat, Poison, Kansas, Nazareth.
